The restaurant was very good, with excellent food, and breakfast at the main hotel was nice too. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable but really needed updating, and the fan could have used a longer cable. Christmas here sounds like it would be fun.

We had a lovely three-course dinner in a cosy setting, and the attention our group of 16 received was good. Service was a little slower than we'd have liked, but the food was good. I left happy and would recommend it for a relaxed meal.

If you just need a simple bed, this place works. The rooms are basic European style, with too few outlets, and the bathroom needs maintenance. Bring your own soap and shampoo. There was no one available to help at breakfast the next morning.

The location and surrounding area are terrific, and we'd stay again. It's a cosy place, though the staff weren't very friendly. Rooms are tight on space, the single beds are pushed together, there aren't many outlets, and the bathroom could use some care.

The included breakfast buffet at their sister hotel was fabulous. The hotel itself is older, quaint, and basic for a European hotel. Dinner at the main hotel was hit or miss: the vegetables with the steak were awesome, and the steak came out medium. I didn't send it back because service was very slow. Since it was a Friday night, perhaps more wait staff would have helped.
