There’s a big difference between the room types. The single has just a bed, little TV, and table, while the double rooms are very roomy and come with a kitchenette, fridge, and washing machine.

Getting around was easy enough: the Botanical Gardens are about 10 minutes away on foot, and the Old town and University are around 20 minutes away. A nearby store is about a 10-minute walk, and there’s a bus stop close by for rides to Lund's main railway station, roughly 10 minutes away. Buses don’t come often and aren’t especially comfortable. Lund was fantastic to explore on foot. Our L room was spacious, clean, and pleasant. The washing machine also works as a dryer, and the kitchen had plenty of useful equipment, including sharp knives, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, cutlery, a saucepan, and a frying pan. There’s a fridge with a tiny freezer. We missed having a dish rack and a kettle, though we boiled water in a saucepan. There is a capsule coffee machine, and you can use a kettle in the lobby. The TV only had a limited selection of Swedish channels; we didn’t ask about casting, and didn’t have much time for it anyway. Staff were fantastic, and the facilities were great. There’s a little drawing area inside for kids, plus a playground outside. Coffee to go is prepared every morning :)

There was a problem at first, but they fixed it right away and moved us to an amazing room. I couldn’t be more grateful.

Parking took some effort because of street construction. We found a spot on the same block about five minutes away, following the hotel’s clear directions. The TV was no use either: it had lots of satellite channels, but none worked, apparently because some decoding card or key was missing. We used our small laptop to watch the football game instead. Otherwise, it was good value, 9/10. The room and facilities were clean and had what we needed, including a modern bathroom and washing machine. Internet was fast, and the small gym was a nice extra. Self check-in was smooth: scan a key card and it assigns a room automatically. Checkout worked the same way. The coffee to go at reception was hot and good :)
