The breakfast was tasty, even if the Swedish buffet didn’t offer a huge selection. The beds were really comfortable, and I slept well. It’s close to the lake and town, with shops and restaurants nearby. Nice customer care too, so I had a good stay.

The building is beautiful and historic, and the staff were very nice on the first day. But the room had a horrible plastic, chemical smell. When we mentioned it, the owner ignored us and showed no sense of customer service. Nothing else was wrong with the place, but I won’t return while she’s in charge.

Suzanne was a great help, even calling for us when we ran into a parking problem. Our room at Plevnagarden Hôtel in Malmkoping was spacious and quiet, with a huge, comfortable bed, and we enjoyed the breakfast. We stayed four nights in early October 2022. The first night was cold. We arrived around 8 pm to find no heating in either the bedroom or bathroom. It worked well after that, though. A few bathroom items were also broken and could use fixing. Breakfast was really good 👍🏻, and I liked the place, especially its aristocratic interior and nice location. The showers and bathroom need refreshing, and some windows were a bit broken and wouldn’t open properly. The heating in the main room didn’t work either. After a very wet motorcycle ride, I needed my things to dry by the next morning. There are things they should improve 😊, but I’d still recommend it.

The location is nice, and the place has potential, but the buildings are old and need renovation before their condition gets worse. It felt sloppy and dirty throughout. Breakfast was sloppy and boring too, with only lactose-free semi-skimmed “milk,” which was terrible. At least the waffles were good.
