We arrived late at night after visiting the boat show in Stockholm and found the hotel door locked. A call to the number on the door got us help right away, and luckily there was still a room free. The receptionist gave us an entry code and clear directions to the key, then wished us a good stay. There was no unnecessary paperwork or hassle; we filled out the forms the next morning after a delicious breakfast and thanked the staff. Friendly service, and I liked that they trusted their guests. A fantastic experience!

Breakfast came with the room and was very good for a hotel of this kind. The whole area was quiet, and the beds were comfortable. I stayed two nights for a business trip at a very reasonable price. The staff were always smiling and helpful. Small hotel in a small city, with a cozy, very clean room, high ceilings, and a somewhat small but perfectly okay bathroom. I'd recommend it.

STORA HOTELLET MARKARYD is in a great location and is a beautiful, tidy hotel. The staff are kind and helpful, always cheerful and smiling, and the room was very neat. I'd recommend it to everyone. Thumbs up 👍👍👍

The relax room was advertised inaccurately: it isn't open on weekends because there's no cleaning staff. Soundproofing is poor, there's no air conditioning, and breakfast is basic.

The rooms are really snug and cozy. Service and breakfast are both very good. There's a Tesla Supercharger very close by 👍🏻
