Booked on the spur of the moment and ended up having a great dinner. The biff pan was fantastic, and the bar had a good range of drinks, including a tasty Mellerud beer 🍺. I liked the impressive ceiling in there too. My room had two beds and a large bathroom, and the shower worked well. I'm happy here 😀🇸🇪😀

We stopped in just for a meal, and the food was great!

I tried the lunch buffet expecting a chance to sample a few different dishes, but what was served was very disappointing. There were boiled potatoes, lukewarm potato wedges, breaded fish, and steak, plus a very basic salad and cabbage “pizza salad.” That's all, which hardly feels like a buffet. The fish looked scruffy, with bits of breading missing, the steak had no flavor, and the wedges were completely unsalted. It reminded me of the worst hospital food. Save your money and go somewhere better.

Loved the pannpiff, and the service and atmosphere were fantastic too. Highly recommend!

The buffet salad section was fresh, and the cream sauce was delicious, well seasoned, and hadn't split, which can happen at buffets. The potatoes were cooked just right, with a soft, fluffy outside and a little salty crunch under the knife. I chose the pan-fried steak with onions, potatoes, and cream sauce for lunch on 19/2. The meat was juicy, cooked through but not dry, and had a nicely browned surface with well-balanced seasoning. A real treat for a lunch of the day :)
