It's an aging building, but the value for money is excellent. It's clean, includes breakfast and an evening snack in a breakfast style, and is near the ferry. You can get in 24/7.

For a two-star hotel, I thought this was quite good. The staff were friendly, facilities clean, and both the rooms and location were peaceful. It's around 20 minutes from Umeå city center. Breakfast was good, and there was an evening snack as well. You can order a sawmill history tour next door. The shower in our room was unusual. There's a games room with darts, table tennis, and billiards, though the billiard table wasn't in great condition. The harbour is a short walk away, with ferries going back and forth between Umeå and Vaasa, Finland.

Quite a lot is broken, and the place isn't very clean. Someone has brought stones in from outside for the sauna, and the pool table is so dirty it's unusable. It's really expensive for what you get. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The place is clean, although it can take a minute for the tap water to get warm. Breakfast and an evening snack are available. The games room has darts, billiards, and table tennis. The sea shore is a short 2-4 minute walk away. There's nothing special there, but the rocks are a nice spot for a picnic. The surroundings have historical importance for the region's development, and there are information signs around. We also found a few geocaches nearby, so it was nice to walk around and relax.
