We couldn't stay in the room because it was extremely hot and had no proper ventilation. It smelled of old sweat, the pillow and duvet were stained, and there was hair in the bed. For a well-known brand like Comfort Hotel, that fell far below the standard guests should be able to expect. The receptionist said we'd get a refund, and we agreed to leave because of that promise. Later, the hotel refused to honor it. A very disappointing experience.

I spent eight nights at the Comfort Hotel on a wonderful trip to Umea and honestly can't think of anything negative. The price was very fair, and the rooms were spotless, peaceful, and comfortable. I even woke up one night thinking, “I am really comfortable,” then went straight back to sleep. Staff were friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was consistently delicious, with a great range of choices to start the day. I can't recommend it enough and am already looking forward to coming back soon.

Breakfast was nice, with some vegan choices like bread and plant-based yogurt, and the staff were friendly. The location was right in the middle of the city, and the room was clean. But I seem to have been placed directly below the gym. In the morning, especially around 7-8am, and again in the evening, it was really loud, like heavy weights were being dropped right over my room. Very annoying.

The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was great with enough options for vegetarians. The location is right in the center, and I had no complaints at all.

The gym and sauna were very good, but the rooms have no sound insulation, so it gets loud.
