The room was clean and roomy, though it had more of a hostel feel than a hotel. The food and service were superb throughout, and the location was lovely. I'd stay here again if I return to Umeå.

The hotel is old, but it felt modern and was really comfortable. For a budget place, it was very impressive. Our stay came with a simple dinner and a good breakfast, and the staff were lovely. It's handy for both the train station and town. We had a really enjoyable stay and would recommend it.

Breakfast and dinner are included in the price, and the hotel is an easy distance from vasaplan(bus hub). The rooms were neat, with ventilation that made no noise. The reception felt cosy, and the workers greeted us with smiles. A likable hotel, and Rally Sweden guys seem to like it too ;)

We spent one night in a room without windows, but that didn't bother us. The room and bathroom were very clean, and breakfast was okay. There's paid parking in the garage next to the hotel. It also has an elevator and facilities for disabled people.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Dinner was tasty and free, and there was coffee and tea available throughout the day. The hotel is close to the city, and the sauna is free to use. We stayed three nights, though, and the room was never cleaned or given fresh towels, even after we left the “please go ahead” sign on the door. There was also constant noise overnight from a heater or some other machine in our room, which kept disrupting our sleep. That's why I'm not giving it five stars.
