Out of the 14 places I stayed during my road trip, this was the one that surprised me most in a good way. There was loads of space, everything felt new and was spotless, and all around us were sounds of nature.

The common room really made the stay memorable. We met other anglers there, swapped stories, had a laugh, and made new contacts. The tackle shop was another great touch, whether you need gear or just enjoy browsing fishing gadgets. Perch Lodge in Mönsterås is stylish, fresh, and equipped with the modern comforts you could want. The quality for the price is unusual. Check-in and checkout were simple with the self-service system, and the service felt professional while still giving you room to do your own thing. Everything looked brand new, and the room was really fresh, especially the bathroom, which matters to me since I'm picky about those. I only wish we were staying here for the whole week instead of just stopping on the way 😢. Everything else was good. One tiny suggestion: it might be nice if the bathroom window could open a little. Otherwise, 👍👍👍
