The restaurant had a relaxing, elegant feel that fit the spa hotel, and the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Our waiter, Angel, made the visit especially lovely. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind, made us feel welcome right away, and made sure everything at our table was just right. His positive attitude and care for good service really stood out. Thanks to Angel, the whole experience felt even better. He’s a real asset to the hotel, and I’d definitely consider coming back. Highly recommended!

The spa itself deserves five stars. It was clean, relaxing, and beautifully set, with a good variety of pools and saunas. The outdoor pool was especially lovely, and even the changing rooms were well organized. The breakfast and lunch, though, were disappointing, so I’d put the overall experience around three stars, with five for the spa and two for the food. The breakfast buffet was a mediocre mix of Swedish and Japanese items. I was most surprised by the poor drinks, especially the tea. For a Japanese themed hotel, I expected a good selection of Japanese teas, including hojicha, genmaicha, and sencha. Instead, the tea selection was terrible, and the one green tea bag was very bland. They did have a nice genmaicha in the spa tea lounge, so I don’t understand why it wasn’t offered in the restaurants. We had the bento box for lunch, and that disappointed too. The rice was far too sweet, and the meat was covered in mayonnaise. The food felt inauthentic and aimed more at Swedish tastes. That’s fine in a Swedish restaurant, but disappointing in a Japanese one.

The spa was the highlight of a special birthday trip to Stockholm, and the lunch was delicious. The bento box had bold flavors and was just the right amount, the miso soup was better than I expected, and the miso caramel chocolate dessert finished things off nicely. It’s quite expensive, but worth every penny, and you even get to keep the swimwear they provide. We came for a day spa treatment with lunch included, and everything exceeded our already high expectations. The staff were fantastic, and the views over the water were stunning, especially from one of the outdoor hot pools. I’ve often found that spa facilities have things out of order or closed, but everything here was working and accessible. The sauna was enormous and properly hot, the steam room was genuinely steamy, and all the pools were spotless. From driving up the driveway to leaving, the whole visit was amazing. I’m not affiliated with the hotel or paid to write this, even if it sounds too good to be true.

Getting here from the airport by Uber was easy, and I’d definitely recommend it for a solo trip. The Japanese dinner was delicious, the spa had loads of variety, and I loved the activities. With everything included, I think it’s good value. I would’ve liked to stay at the spa longer after checkout without paying extra, but I loved my stay and would recommend it 100%.
