The place could be wonderful, but it needs a lot more care. The old houses have an interesting history and look lovely at first, though inside they're worn and you can hear everything. Some steps on the stairs are missing, and so is the ladder from the sauna down to the sea. Since the shower doesn't work either, using the sauna is almost impossible.
I was there in mid-July 2019 and the hostel felt completely lifeless. The restaurant was fully booked, and the staff seemed half asleep. I tried to find somewhere to make my own food and planned to barbecue, but there was nobody in charge, just a Polish person cleaning the toilets.
The food was fantastic, and the service was so, so nice. We’ll be back. Have a lovely rest of the summer! Regards, the company Tanja Fylking.
It felt deserted and really run down. I can understand the restaurant being closed after it burned down, but the rest of the place looks far too neglected. I won’t visit again.
The setting is great, which makes this disappointing. The food was mediocre and nowhere near worth the price. I really want this place to be good, even if that means paying more.
