We paid for two double rooms for four adults, but ended up with one double room and another room with a 120 cm bed meant for one person. There was a vacant double room, yet we were told we could only have it for an extra 900 SEK, which we absolutely didn’t want to pay. Before that, there was no greeting, no check-in or room information, and we saw no staff during the stay. Everything had to be sorted out by phone. The person in charge eventually answered a number we had from a call about a breakfast cancellation several weeks earlier, and was extremely rude. The whole property and its surroundings also look worn, messy, and uncared for. There have already been several very bad reviews, but the person in charge is still rude and really not suited to service work.

The farmhouse is in a lovely spot and has real potential, but it is nowhere near ready to operate as a hotel. Our room was dirty, with old hairpins on the floor, and the lock didn’t work. Staff mostly shrugged and seemed uninterested, leaving us to figure it out ourselves. There were no glasses, mugs, kettle, or information about the hotel or wifi. The room was so noisy we could hear the neighbor snoring above us. Breakfast was poor and wasn’t ready at opening, yet they still wanted to charge the full rate of a 4* hotel.

We got such a lovely room, “Skomakeriet,” and they let our dog stay too. Having a private entrance was great. It had everything we needed for two days. Breakfast was simple and tasty, and we’d happily come back 😊

The dinner was delicious, and breakfast was just as good, with plenty served even though we were the only guests. Irina looked after us with so much heart and soul, and her eyes lit up when she talked about the place. We’ve booked again for May and can’t wait to try the famous Vedungs pizzas. See you then, Agneta and Jonas. We loved the rural setting, with sheep bleating outside. The old house and room had been modernized with style while keeping some of the beams and logs. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we really like the whole sustainability concept. For people who enjoy this kind of stay, it’s a gem ❤️
