The part that made this stay for me was the service. Sheryl answered my thousand questions and was incredibly helpful, from telling me what the town offered and where to buy things to sorting out my ride back to Kalmar. I might have rated the hotel two or three stars otherwise, but her help brought it up to four. I'd probably stay again if I return. I was there for six days in mid-November. My room was small but fine for what I needed, and although I'm not used to a single bed, I slept well enough. It was warm, so I kept the windows open to cool the room. The Wi-Fi in room 110 was awful, though. I had to work or watch shows on my phone outside the room or in the lobby, since I don't understand Swedish. Breakfast and supper were included in the price, which felt very reasonable, and the food suited me. The hotel was also perfectly located for our work event.

The building has a lovely historic feel, and the decor does a nice job of keeping it. It's right on the central square, with clean rooms and attentive staff. The price includes a dinner buffet, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. There's lots of public parking in the square out front, so no need to pay for hotel parking.

Really cozy rooms, tasty food, and kind, professional staff. Breakfast was great too!

There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, including the usual pancakes and waffles, though the fruit selection was rather limited. The dinner was nicely prepared and offered quite a few options, and they even served cake on the day we visited. Afternoon coffee or tea with cookies or cake was included as well. A comfortable hotel with service-minded staff.
