The sauna and jacuzzi are nice, the hotel is well kept, and breakfast was good. The woman working alone at breakfast deserves a lot of credit for keeping everything going, though the room seemed understaffed. But the hotel's reply to my complaint is misleading and doesn't deal with the issue. I don't mind paying for a bag of chips, but adding another 5 euros just for an invoice or admin fee is unacceptable. I expect to pay for what I ate, not an extra charge for invoicing. Is this really Sweden?

The location is hard to beat: the airport bus stops about 50 metres down the road, and only a helipad could improve that. Staff were grateful, friendly, and more helpful than expected. The rooms have a lovely atmosphere and retain the building's heritage, with a decent amount of space, though that huge cabinet takes up a lot of it and could go. We could hear our neighbours talking, and the toilet paper was only one-ply.

The vintage decor is really nice, and there's underground parking, good Wi-Fi, and a great breakfast. The curtains don't cover the windows properly, though, so they don't block out the light.

The shower pressure was poor, though the Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was OK, but the buffet wasn't open early enough for my train on the last morning. The breakfast room gets no daylight, which felt a bit odd. The retro look is quirky, but the place still has a somewhat fusty feel.

The rooms are elegantly furnished, if a bit untidy, and the beds are supportive and comfortable. Some basement rooms have no windows, but they're quite affordable. Set in an old theatre from the 1800s, the hotel has a quaint, almost luxurious feel. The spa has two jacuzzis and a sauna, and breakfast is very good, with local products and vegan choices.
