Hotell Linden

There are 12 parking spaces, and if they’re full it’s fairly easy to find a spot on the street for a small fee. Breakfast was a good continental spread, with fried potatoes, bacon and beans, toast and cold cuts, boiled eggs and vegetables. I didn’t miss anything. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was fresh with a nice shower. The downside is that there’s no soundproofing from the hallway or through the window. I’d suggest better room doors and more modern windows, which could also cut the owner’s energy costs. Still, it was a great place for a couple of nights.

A really bad experience. The room was dirty, and the staff were not helpful at all. I don’t recommend it.

The furniture isn’t old and looks good, and the bathroom is decent enough. But the rooms are made from flats connected by long, hospital-like corridors, so it doesn’t feel very cozy. The refrigerator in my room didn’t work and smelled awful, and all the window blinds were broken. It wasn’t too bad overall, but felt more like a two- or three-star hostel. Frokost... better to eat outside.

The reception closes at night, and there was no hair dryer in the bathroom. Breakfast wasn’t good, with quite a few things missing, including bacon, and only a very small menu to choose from.
