Really nice hostel. The common rooms felt cosy, and the kitchen was clean, organised, and had everything we needed. There's a good bus link into the city centre, with shops right nearby too.

It's not a fancy place, but it does what you need for a fraction of what other options cost. The room was decent and so were the beds. I had it to myself, even though I was travelling alone. The kitchen and lounge had plenty of equipment, and the bathrooms were mostly kept up well. It's a bit of a walk to centrum, though there are supermarkets down the road. For the price, especially if you're in a group, it's a bargain. I'd stay again.

The buffet is worth trying, you get plenty to eat for not much money, and the prices overall are reasonable. I had a lot of fun at the laser tag place and wish they offered some kind of season pass. The go-karts are fun too, and they go faster than you'd expect. I'd go on a weekday, ideally right when they open or during the last two hours.

Dennis Blom, who runs the place, is a really friendly host and knows the area well, so ask him whatever you want to know. The hostel is attached to an activity centre with climbing walls, go-karts, and more. It's a decent 20-minute walk from the town centre. The bunks may cost a little more than in other parts of Europe, though Sweden is generally more expensive anyway.

From the outside it looks run down, but inside it was more modern and comfortable than we expected. Our large corner room had four spacious bunk beds, a tall window, and blackout curtains, handy in summer for ventilation while keeping privacy at night. The shared kitchen, toilet, and shower were clean and decent. There are restaurants nearby, and Willys and lidl are an easy stroll away. We also had fun go-karting at the adjoining gaming centre. The staff were kind and helpful.
