A pleasant stay in a nice spot near lake Värnen. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were friendly. There are games to borrow if the weather isn't suitable for being outside. The breakfast room, reception, and gaming room also have cozy fireplaces.

The food was the highlight, a family-style three-course meal using local ingredients and inspired by local recipes. The old building has neat architecture too. If you get the chance to experience this place, don't pass it up!

It looks like a nice hotel in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, but we didn't sleep for one minute in this "relaxhotel." They'd arranged a party for 180 kids with very loud music that went on all night. We travel a lot and have stayed in hotels in many countries, but never had anything like this happen. Never again.

The price was better than reasonable, and it was very good value for money. We had a prebooked three-course lunch on Saturday, in a group of six. The food was better quality than usual for the area, though not great. Service and flexibility were top notch.

We had excellent dining, with taste and wine combinations that were pleasantly surprising. It's a beautiful traditional mansion with a lovely garden and water nearby for swimming.
