Three days after contacting reception and emailing, I still hadn’t heard from management, even though they repeatedly said they’d call back. That was a disappointing experience, especially after arriving to find something very different from what we’d booked. We’d reserved a tent site with a private area and electricity access, as Årsunda Camping’s website showed. Instead, we were put in an unmarked shared field with no power. The website doesn’t match the actual campsite conditions, and the customer service was poor.

The lake was lovely and warm for an evening swim, and the view is fantastic. Our cabin was top class, the facilities were top notch, and the whole place was clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. A very nice place!

The chef knows what he’s doing, and there’s a restaurant with good food plus a little shop. A supermarket is only a few metres away, and everything needed for a solution was included. It worked perfectly for me as a single man on a business trip, and would suit a family holiday by the beautiful big lake too. Thanks for the stay!

It’s a beautiful long beach with mesmerizing lake views. In summer, you can swim or set off kayaking; in winter, you can start ice skating here and head toward Sandviken. A lovely sunny day trip with nature at its best.

I was there with my wife and four children while working, and they let me stay! The staff and service were amazing. 🫶🏼
