B&B Turistgården Särna

The restaurant was the highlight for me, with a multi-course dinner made from plenty of hand-picked local fruit and vegetables. It’s a proper five-star restaurant with a master chef. The hotel itself is a hidden gem too: the rooms feel antique and cozy, though they’ve been renovated very recently, and the whole place is beautiful. I’d make a visit even just for dinner or breakfast.

We only stopped by the bakery, not overnight, and I’m so glad we did. The owners put so much love into everything, and they’re kind and accommodating. It feels welcoming and homey, and the fika is beautifully prepared. Turistgården has the juiciest, sweetest kanel and kardemombullar. If you’re lucky, you might get hjortronbullar too, the highlight of my vacation 😂😍 Thanks for making our trip special!

A lovely base for visiting the southern Swedish mountains. It’s an old building with modern comforts, though the room door lock was broken. Breakfast came with amazing bread, and the service was very friendly.

Mieke and Jacco were so welcoming, and you can tell they put their whole heart into this B&B. The house is very clean and has a charming feel, and the breakfast was incredible, with lots of homemade and local treats. My room was small but really nice, especially for such an affordable price. The showers and bathrooms are shared, but there are several, so there should usually be one free. Best stay of my whole Sweden road trip!
