The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. Free parking was available too. The room worked fine, though that unattractive ceiling would be the thing I liked least.

There’s a kitchenette in the room, so bring your own food. Pretty simple.

There’s no cooker, just a microwave.

The place was fresh and pleasant, and the regular staff were especially helpful. They got us fresh towels on the second to last day, and we could cancel the final night and get a full refund with no fee. The Wi-Fi was poor, though, and cooking was limited to using the microwave. Also, sound carried between floors.

We were disappointed that what we got didn’t line up with the website description we saw when booking in July. Breakfast is now a very basic basket, with no napkins, and we were expected to wash the dishes ourselves without even having a towel to dry them. Reception is open only limited hours, and the restaurant is no longer part of the guesthouse and also has limited hours. We had to ask for the towels to be changed. A power cut meant showering in the dark, which was inconvenient, though I understand the outage itself wasn’t the guesthouse’s fault. There was garden furniture right next to the room, which was a nice plus. The beds felt narrow and hammock-like.
