There’s real character to the place, and the view over the small yacht harbour is lovely. The food was good and beautifully presented, and it didn’t feel crowded in the period after the pandemic. But the service took far too long: waiting an hour and a half just to get the menu was excessive. Finding the tucked-away toilet was a bit of a quest, too.

The restaurant was a highlight, with very tasty Swedish dishes and very good service, though it’s quite expensive. The hotel itself feels warm and comfortable throughout, and the room was clean with good service. It’s right by the lake and about a ten-minute walk from Sigtuna center. Breakfast was a letdown despite the food being good quality. With the room still full of guests at 9:30, the bread and orange juice had already run out. One waitress for the whole hotel wasn’t enough to keep up.

We had a lovely two-night stay in such a beautiful setting. The room was just right, and breakfast was good. There are sweet little details all around, and the service was kind. Such a lovely environment.

The view was scenic, but the service was poor. There was a sign asking us to wait to be seated, yet nobody came. Once we sat down ourselves, nobody brought menus or asked what we wanted to eat or drink. Despite the long menu, only two dishes were actually available.
