There's a lovely park nearby for a walk, and the hotel is fine for a one-night stop if you're visiting Skara Sommarland. I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay. The room was very small, with no AC, just a little fan that couldn't cool an east-facing room on hot summer days. Cleaning was acceptable, but the stained carpet made the place feel old and dirty. Although free parking was advertised, the hotel lot was full and we had to park a couple of streets away and pay. Breakfast was a basic buffet.

The staff were great and breakfast was decent. The rooms look a bit old, with holes in the walls like rock stars had been fighting there.

We usually stay in cabins when we visit Skara Sommarland, but this hotel was much better, and it's only 20 minutes from Skara. It was definitely worth the price. The main drawback was the expensive parking. We found free parking near the train station from 10-18, about a seven-minute walk from the hotel.

The beds were good, the rooms were large, and nothing was dirty. Staff were very polite. During Corona times, you had to book a breakfast slot, for example 06.30 or 07.00. Dinner buffet was good and always had a vegetarian option. Breakfast was good too, though compared with bigger hotels like Scandic it had a more compact menu and less variety. The hotel is close to the train station, about a 3-4 minute walk.
