Trolleberg Bed & Breakfast

Peaceful and cozy, but there are guard dogs outside. Keep that in mind if you're afraid of dogs or allergic to them.

The cottage had plenty of space, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a sauna and pool we hadn't noticed when booking. The location deserves six stars for its beautiful nature and heavenly quiet. The landlords were friendly, as were their two cute dogs. Families with very young children may find the stairs to the upstairs bedroom tricky, though the sofa bed downstairs is a good sleeping option.

We felt very restricted because the owners didn't respect our request to keep their huge St. Bernard dog inside. It was constantly outside our front door, and our three male dogs didn't like it. We couldn't walk our dogs as needed, and when we got back, they had to lie in the car because the dog was around us all the time. We spoke with the owners, who promised on three mornings and evenings to keep their dog inside while we were at the accommodation, but it was outside our door every time. They said they couldn't lock the dog up because it gets out, and they had trouble leashing it because it pulled away. On top of that, I came back to lots of paw prints and scratches on my car because their other dog, an eight-month-old Labrador, jumped around on it when we arrived. So disrespectful and poor service. We'll never go back. They really should say on their website that they have a guard dog that seems to prefer guarding the guests' houses!!!

A really nice place. The owner came by in the evening to light a fire.
