The owners were really pleasant and responsive, and the cottages themselves are comfortable, warm, and beautifully decorated. They're in good condition, with everything you might need to feel at ease.

The trip didn't feel worth it in the end. The manager was attentive and helpful, but the cabin was barely more than a shack, with almost nothing to cook with, and it wasn't clean. The pillows and mattress topper looked like something from a prison movie. Fishing was no better: we tried different spots at all times of day and got nothing. We asked at least 10 anglers, and they all said they'd had the same experience. If you're going there to fish, check when they release the trout first.

The hostess could be reached, but didn't seem very customer-oriented, and the location wasn't great. The two chalets we rented were dirty and dusty. One hadn't been cleaned at all, had dirty towels, and smelled like a wet dog. We cancelled the stay and slept at a nice, clean hotel eight minutes away, for the same price.

I'm really disappointed. The cabin clearly hadn't been cleaned for a long time: there was mold in the coffee maker filter, the dishes were unwashed, and the smoke alarm had no battery. In the evening, two large dogs were loose and even came onto our balcony. That's not okay when we have a small dog ourselves. The one thing that was fine was that staff answered when we contacted them. We'll never go there again. / Monica and Lars
