The houses are roomy and cozy, with four beds. If you get lucky, you might land one of the larger houses with a sea view. The restaurant didn't impress us, especially for the prices, since you can find better food elsewhere. We also couldn't get into the spa at 21, even though it was meant to be open from 16-22. We had hoped to use the outdoor infinity pool and look at the stars, so that was a real letdown. Altogether, I'd give the stay 3/5.

It's a lovely spot right by the water, about an hour's drive from Copenhagen, and the staff were friendly. Our room was a spacious little cottage over two floors, with two toilets and four beds. It was clean and roomy, though the decor is a bit dated.

The location by the sea is great, and most of the staff were kind and attentive. The food was good too, though I wouldn't spend the money on the Sunday brunch. We ended up in one of the Holiday houses because the hotel rooms were full. It was clean, but very old and poorly maintained, and not at hotel standard. The spa was okay, though it lacked different saunas and some basic coziness, so I'd call it a wellness area rather than a spa. The terrace has the hotel's best view, but the furniture was broken and worn, the plants were dead, and staff kept us waiting, when they showed up at all.

Lunch here on a weekday was great. The setting is outstanding, and the service and atmosphere were lovely.

The spa has a great feel to it, and the gym is very good. We stayed in a small house with quiet, fairly spacious rooms. On closer inspection, though, the place was dirty and there was mold in the bathroom. The seaside location was awesome, but I didn't feel the price was quite justified. Still, it was a nice stay.
