Hotell Kringelstaden

The rates are so high for a hotel in such a bad state. The beds are torn in most rooms, kitchen shelves are broken, and the taps are broken too. When we asked for cleaning, the service people shouted at us and stared. We booked five consecutive days, but the bathrooms still weren’t cleaned every day. When the room was cleaned, the towels were wet and the floor was so soaked that water was sweeping away. Only the front part was cleaned, while the rest wasn’t touched. Breakfast had very few options. Never book.

It’s on Stockholm’s outskirts, which makes it relatively cheaper. You can arrange paid parking in advance, at a lower cost than parking nearby. Breakfast was good, and the receptionist was helpful and understood English well. The rooms are a decent size, with attached bathrooms and some space for cooking, plus oven utensils. Restaurants are within walking distance and usually open until 9.30 or 10 pm.

The administrator was so nice, thanks for the warm welcome. The hotel also has its own parking spaces. It isn’t new, but it’s neat, and the room has a small kitchen. The bedding is heavy, fragrant, and breathes well. Ten points for the administrator 😉

A nice, simple place with everything you need, just four minutes from the railway station. The breakfast kitchen wasn’t ready for the hotel to be fully booked, though.
