We really liked the gym. It’s rare for a hotel gym to have a barbell rack, heavy dumbbells and a leg press. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. The room had no capsule coffee machine, fridge or kettle, but I could fill my water in the breakfast area. Breakfast offered several yoghurts and milks for people who are lactose intolerant, plus lots of bread. The hot options were scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausages, and hard or soft boiled eggs. We wished there were salmon or mackerel as a cold cut every day, since mackerel was only available on Wednesday. The coffee machine is dated, and the coffee tasted diluted. There wasn’t a plug in the bathroom, so I had to charge my electric toothbrush at the desk. The hotel is close to most attractions and malls, with plenty of convenient places nearby for lunch or dinner.

The property has a calm, welcoming feel, and the rooms are spacious, well kept and comfortable to return to after a long day. Its location works well for business or leisure trips. Given the service and amenities, it offers strong value for the money. I hope they keep the current prices, since few places manage to balance comfort and affordability so well.

We visited for a weekend. There weren’t many hotel guests, though plenty of people came in for drinks or a meal at the restaurant. The station is right behind the place, just a three-minute walk away. It felt friendly.

The location is in the centrum area, but the single rooms are quite small. The amenities could use some improvement.

The location was amazing, right in the city centre and one minute from the central station, and the staff were friendly. Still, the room felt quite worn. During all three days of my stay, the bins weren’t emptied, and nobody checked whether I needed fresh towels. I came away with a somewhat low impression of the hotel.
