Best Western Solna Business Park

The host was really nice, but that was the only good part. My room was in bad shape: the curtains were coming down, the mattress barely deserved the name, and the kettle was dirty inside, so I didn’t use it. I’ve stayed at other best western hotels in the area, where breakfast has a good variety. This one was underwhelming, although the coffee was good. If your room faces the railway track, you might not sleep well, though there isn’t really anything anyone can do about that.

I booked a premium room, but it was nowhere near premium. The room was dirty and far from clean, and all the furniture was worn down. There wasn’t even a reception desk, just full self-service, and no iron or ironing board anywhere in the hotel. There was no service available either. The message on the phone at the self-service reception was, “Wait for tomorrow!” Don’t book this horrible hotel.

The Swedish meatballs at breakfast won my husband over 😂 The breakfast was great, and the location is perfect, with the tram and train right next door. Our room was clean and spacious. 10/10.

Nothing is really wrong with the hotel, though it feels rundown and past its best. The key cards are another issue: if being near a cell phone can demagnetize them, the hotel should replace the system. This was already a problem when I stayed two years ago, and they still warn you about it. They give you two cards “just in case.”
