The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had several choices, though I’d have liked more vegetarian options. Our room faced the back, which worked well since the road can be busy, and we turned the air conditioning down a bit so it was quieter for sleeping. There’s a nice bistro too, worth trying since the town’s pizzerias are pretty basic. Malmö is a 20-minute drive away, and getting back onto the E20 is quick if needed.

We were here for a wedding, and the food was sublime even though it was being served to a large party. The venison tartare, melt-in-your-mouth beef, and outstanding white chocolate mousse were all top quality. Alcohol is eye-wateringly expensive, though that seems to be the case pretty much anywhere in Sweden. I can only imagine how good the à la carte dining must be. Highly recommended if you’re ever out this way.

Free parking and bicycles were a nice bonus. The room had a Nespresso machine, and the beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean and modern, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. We stayed last night before heading on to CPH.

Service was attentive but relaxed, and they gave us a doggy bag for the leftovers. The food was generous and good quality, though I can’t say anything about the sleeping accommodations. There’s a great range of alcoholic drinks, plus plenty of nonalcoholic choices. It feels like a genuine Scanian gästgiveri. Try the Äggakaka, it’s quite good, if not the best in Skåne, though people may disagree.
