I've never had a worse hostel stay. The place looked like it should be torn down, and it was extremely dirty. There were urine all over the toilet seats, stains on the sink, and a urine smell throughout the bathrooms. The room was the worst part. Even setting aside the hair and other dirt on the beds, my friend and I were shocked when bed bugs came out of the mattress and covered the whole bed. We couldn't sleep there, so we had to leave and find somewhere else at the last minute. I think this hostel should be closed for good. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even in an emergency. I'd rather sleep in an airport or train station than stay there again. It's sad to have to give even one star for such a horrible experience.

The staff were really nice and attentive, and we got clean towels. Our room, though, wasn't very clean. It had a large refrigerator, and there was a big shared cooking area, but no pans or dishes, so bring your own. The hostel is quite large and also seems to house some homeless people or refugees, who were okay. You get what you pay for. It's a bit old and not the best choice if you're travelling alone. If all you need is a shower and somewhere to sleep, it's okay, though a bit scary.

It was a tidy place with good people, a big lounge, and a lift. The bathroom and restroom are shared. Check-in is only until 19:00. Getting to Central by transport is possible throughout the day, but you have to figure out the routes, and it was a bit hard to find the place the first time. There's a MAX burger within walking distance, open until 01pm. I also saw a woman whose luggage got stuck in a room because of a mix-up.

The hostel's facilities, location, and general atmosphere made it a poor choice for me as a solo traveler. It was in a dark industrial area, hard to find on foot because roadworks blocked the connecting road. I arrived late, which I'd already confirmed was okay when booking, and called for directions. The person who answered said someone else would call, but no one did, so I had to rely on strangers to find it. People out front asked how long I was staying because they said it wasn't a very good hostel. Thankfully I was only booked for one night before my flight. Reception was closed when I arrived, and I had to call several times. When they answered, they said they were busy talking to the police about an incident. I waited 10 minutes to get into my room. The receptionist was nice, just busy. I asked what was happening and was told there were people who shouldn't have been there and wouldn't leave. They assured me it was safe and said I could call staff if I needed help or felt unsafe. The hostel looked unclean. The mattresses and protectors had several brown and other stains, though the sheets I requested seemed clean. At least half the toilets were out of service, and many toilets also served as shower rooms, so they were wet. People sat talking outside rooms in large open areas, and the rooms weren't soundproof. My bedroom window was stuck slightly open, so I had to sleep in a jumper, even though the room wasn't completely cold. The large hostel had many open, mostly empty rooms that didn't look totally clean and made the place feel uneasy. Most people I saw coming and going while I waited were men over 30. I only saw one woman and a large dog. Maybe I was the wrong fit as a young woman travelling alone, but although it was cheap, it wasn't worth the price. The kind receptionist is the only reason for the one star.

We booked here at the last minute. The location was okay, the price was good, and it was quiet at night, but the place was strange and completely disorganized. There was no toilet paper, no mirrors, and not enough bed sheets. We were simply told they didn't have any more, lol. Service was very slow, and you can't expect much beyond a place to sleep. The guests seemed nice, mostly young international backpackers, though they all looked confused. If you expect nothing, it's fine. I don't think this hostel is ready to open.
