On my third trip to Stockholm, I finally stayed at Stockholm Stadshotell, and it was easily my best experience in the city so far. It felt like home, largely because the staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to make me comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The sauna was amazing, and I enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The location was very convenient too. I can’t think of anything bad to say, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The sauna and plunge pool were a memorable bonus, and our first time in Stockholm was delightful. The staff were consistently friendly and knowledgeable, and everything went smoothly with the AMEX Fine Hotels benefits. Great facilities and a fantastic location. I’d highly recommend it.

The renovated building looks beautiful, and the dining hall is lovely. I went for breakfast, though the food left me underwhelmed: a lot of dishes were dry or over-seasoned, and the sandwiches had way too much bread for the filling. The staff were mostly friendly but forgot parts of our order. I love that they brought the building back to life.

We didn’t want to leave. Some hotels are just somewhere to sleep, but this one became part of what made our Stockholm trip so memorable. The staff took the time to get to know us, kept checking what we needed, and delivered everything seamlessly. They made us feel at home with service that was elegant but still casual and familiar. The design and attention to detail were unmatched in my experience.

The rooms are beautiful, especially the corner suite, which was a real wow. The staff were so friendly they felt more like friends, and staying here felt like being at home, only better. Definitely my favorite place to stay in Stockholm!
