There’s no reception at the weekend. Our room was cold and looked very scruffy, and it needs refurbishing. It was also far too bright in there, with decent curtains and blackout blinds needed.

There’s parking at the hotel, which is not far from the main road. The rooms are cozy, clean and good, and breakfast was good too. I’d recommend staying here for a night or maybe longer.

A good stop for people travelling by road. Parking is easy, the staff are nice, the internet works well and breakfast was great. There are pleasant green surroundings for a walk and a break from driving. We had a small dog with us and that was no problem. The interiors are a bit Spartan, perhaps, but everything was tidy and the beds were comfortable.

Our room had been newly renovated, and breakfast was amazing. The view toward the road wasn’t much to look at, but it was fine. We really loved our stay and warmly recommend the hotel.

A nice little hotel at the start of the wilderness road. The owner is a working man with a lot to do around the hotel, so be patient with him. The food was really good and included in the price.
