Elite Hotel Knaust

Our suite was top class, and the hotel itself was truly amazing. There’s a British bar, bistro and restaurant tucked away inside, with lovely views over the outside square. It’s about nine minutes from both the central station and the town centre.

The hotel is well situated, and breakfast was included and good. We spent two nights in a Junior Suite with plenty of room, and I appreciated having a coffee machine. Parking is in a public car park some distance away. The bathroom was very cold, with the underfloor heating seeming to come on in the morning. It also needed a proper clean: there was visible dirt and dust in the fan and on the ledges, and the paint was peeling.

The staff were very helpful and professional, though breakfast was mediocre at best. The hotel itself looks fantastic, with a real sense of beauty and class. Its architecture alone is a good reason to visit. I had a great experience and will be back. A must visit!

The room had everything I needed, plus a few thoughtful extras I hadn't come across before, like a sewing kit. It was top notch, and the service was spot on, with friendly, helpful Swedish staff. The building has that grand, old-world hotel feel, and the whole stay was perfect, with a few pleasant surprises.
