The buffet didn’t have a huge selection, but both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the cake was really good too. The little place is cute and well kept, and the staff were attentive, cheerful, and easy to talk to. I’d happily return, and would pick it over some four-star hotels, including Elite Stora Hotellet in Örebro, which was horrible.

We stayed one night while driving from Denmark to Sälen. The food was simple, tasty, and comforting. The old building has a lovely Swedish character, and though the inside is a bit dated, it’s clean and pleasant. Cozy place.

The room was spacious, though it could really use air conditioning. The fish was very good, and there were several nice craft beers.

The hotel’s interior feels a little dated, but the place is nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It felt like a home away from home. The staff were friendly, the food was GREAT, and the service was good.
