Selma Spa+

I’ve stayed twice this year, for a conference and for leisure, and was pleased both times. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The food was excellent, service was quick and portions were reasonable. My room was okay, though a bit worn, while the bathroom was brand new and lovely. I especially liked the gym and pool. The outdoor pool could’ve been a little warmer in winter. It’s out in the middle of nowhere, but perfect if you want a break from the city. I’d recommend it.

We spent two nights here in October. The outdoor hot pools had amazing views, and there were great saunas and an indoor pool. The bar food was top class, and the staff deserve a special mention for being excellent. Beautiful place, highly recommend.

The staff were very polite and helpful, and the swimming pool and jacuzzi baths were good. But that’s about all I can say in its favor. The place, including the rooms, is ready for renovation, and it feels like a great hotel from the 90s that badly needs something new. It costs too much for the service they offer, and should be at least half the price. If you’re coming just for bed and breakfast, this isn’t the place, since using the spa is included in the price.

This was below expectations. Broken closets in the rooms, noisy ventilation and not enough staff meant long waits whenever we needed someone. The prices are high for the quality. I wouldn’t really call it a spa, just a hotel with pools. Families with kids were there, so it had more of a pool-place vibe than a spa.
