Sebastian and Åsa were always nearby if we needed help planning a day or wanted local tips, and the breakfasts were delicious. Being able to pack lunch was especially useful with children, and it was a treat to have a kitchen for simple evening meals. The rooms were comfortable and charming, and the shared bathrooms spotless. On weekends, the old train restaurant down the road serves excellent food, just right for a cozy evening out. We spent a week at Villa Söderåsen as a family of five during the gorgeous autumn season. The children loved our forest walks, lake swims, hikes, and bike rides. We can't wait to return to Villa Söderåsen and beautiful Röstånga, in autumn or any other season!

I've stayed at the Villa twice and had a wonderful time both visits. The rooms are beautiful, and the place is surrounded by nature. The owners and staff are wonderful, too. I loved the common area, decorated with lots of care and detail, with a fireplace and a kitchen that has everything you need. A perfect stay, and I'll definitely come back.

Åsa and Sebastian, the owners, are warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Staying here felt like coming home. It's a peaceful, pristine old Swedish guest house right by a beautiful forest and national park, with a natural lake about a 10-minute walk into the forest. It feels like something from a fairy tale, one of those secret spots you almost want to keep to yourself. Highly recommended!

I spent three nights here at the end of August 2025 and had a lovely stay. The owners were super friendly and helpful, and both the rooms and shared spaces were very, very clean. The property and its setting are beautiful. I felt completely safe while exploring the forest and surrounding nature, and I'll definitely return.

Being able to reach Villa Söderåsen easily by train and bus was essential for me as a foreign traveler. I felt lucky to find such a lovely place. There’s hiking right outside the door in a beautiful, magical forest, and even the local restaurant was fantastic. The room was sweet and the whole building charming. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade bread, beautiful jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, and more. Having access to a kitchen was great. I can't speak highly enough about my stay. Thank you Osa!!
