Best Western Plus Grow Hotel

I spent several days a week here during fall 2019. The hotel was good in every respect, but the staff’s attitude is what earned my five stars. One evening, a broken hook under the table ripped my fairly new suit, which I was really fond of. I told the front desk, and I won’t go into the details, but the way the staff handled it was among the best treatment I’ve received in hospitality. I’ve recommended the hotel many times, then realized I’d never actually written a review.

We stayed from December 26, 2023, to January 1, 2024. On our departure day, my parents’ wedding ring had gone missing from our room. We’d locked the door and gone to breakfast, then came back about 15 minutes later. From roughly 5 meters away, we saw a cleaning lady hurrying out of our room. At first we were glad it had been cleaned, but then noticed the jewelry was gone. We confronted her, though she didn’t speak English, and her colleagues came over just as puzzled. Since we were leaving that day, we couldn’t go to the police. We gave reception our contact details and asked them to get in touch if the ring turned up. We never heard back.

Kevin was especially kind and helpful, both when I called to change my reservation and later at the front desk. The staff were exceptionally friendly overall, and the hotel itself was decent. Getting to the airport is convenient too. The bus stop is a few minutes’ walk away when you arrive, and for departures it’s right outside the hotel entrance.

A comfortable place with good service and a nice breakfast. You can use the sauna and gym for free at any hour. It’s a little way from the city center, though the metro makes it easy to get around.
