The staff and service were good, but the hotel is showing its age and the rooms don’t really meet the standard. There was no AC, and the poor windows let in constant noise from the street below. The bathroom had mold and dirty marks, and the toilet smelled. If you must, it might do for a night or two on a business trip, but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooms were nice and spacious, breakfast was great, and the staff were very nice. The location is a bit far from the city center, but we got there by public transport in about half an hour. I noticed a discrepancy in the elevator alarm instructions in the picture. Kone says holding the button for 10 seconds is enough, while the sticker next to the button says 15 SEK, which could also mean the price of each press. 😄 So is it 10 or 15 seconds, or Swedish crowns?

The staff were friendly and ready to help, and the restaurant food was surprisingly tasty, though the menu is very small, so over a few days you end up eating the same things. The room was clean and had the basics. It was okay, nothing special, but no major complaints. Traffic noise could be a deal breaker for some. I heard it even on the eighth floor and slept with noise-cancelling headphones. Breakfast was the usual “standard Scandic” selection, with no real bacon, just heated pieces of ham meant to be bacon 😭. The soft-boiled eggs were done correctly, which was nice. Parking is quite limited and the spaces are small.

Breakfast had plenty of fresh choices and everything I tried was delicious. The staff were friendly, professional, and quick to help with requests. My room was roomy, spotless, and really nicely designed. I'd happily recommend it.

For a business trip, this is a pretty good hotel for the price. The breakfast is straightforward but pleasant, with a decent range of food, and it's easy to get help when you need something. The rooms are clean and everything works, though they look a little worn and could use a refresh. Basic, but nice.
