Room 3 was quaint, clean, and just right for us. The grounds were lovely, and the view across Lake Siljin from the restaurant was gorgeous. We also loved the meal: excellent food and impeccable service, with water that tasted so pure, delicious bread, and butter that melted in your mouth. Getting there without a rental car can be difficult, since taxis are hard to find and expensive. Our concert at Dahalla was canceled just as we arrived from the USA, but Desiree went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and help with problems that had nothing to do with the hotel. If you’re tall, remember to duck. Even though the trip didn’t go as planned, Tallsburgs Gardens, the area, the people, and especially Desiree made our mini-vacation worthwhile. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

The ice cream was incredibly good. I’d already booked somewhere else, so I couldn’t stay to try the hotel or restaurant. The small tea garden out front has a fantastic view over the lake.

This is about the restaurant, not the hotel. I was glad to see several non-alcoholic wines on offer, as well as non-alcoholic beers. My wife and I both ordered the Swedish meatball dinner, and it was excellent, with fresh lingonberries. Service was excellent too.

The terrace has a great view of Siljan, probably the best thing I’ll remember from the meal. The restaurant may have one of the best views in Tällberg. The food was okay, though a bit bland and expensive for what you get. Service was barely okay. The wine was great, but a little pricey.

The restaurant was the highlight for me, with fantastic food and excellent vegetarian options. Dinner was far beyond what I expected, and my boyfriend enjoyed being able to get local craft beer. The breakfast buffet was very nice too, especially the amazing home-baked bread. Staff were friendly, and our room was nice with a comfortable bed.
