Villa Evalotta Logi i Fjällbacka

The rooms are cozy, with the bathroom and toilet separate right nearby. There's a large hall downstairs and a well-equipped kitchen with everything for a good breakfast, and you can use the kitchen anytime. The villa is right in the city centre, with a lovely view over the city and lake. Free parking is just outside, and there are lots of cafes and restaurants close by.

The second-floor private rooms are really nice, and the villa is in a fantastic spot. Still, at 180 euros a night in low season, being asked to handle the bed linen when leaving doesn't feel positive, even though it's not much effort.

The rooms were clean and quite pretty, but we didn't get one with a sea view. We could hear drunk people until 3am. Breakfast wasn't great either: no lactose-free milk, no regular butter, and the tables were poorly cleaned.

We were relieved to be staying just one night. The price felt far too high for what we got, especially with an extra fee for parking in the yard. Breakfast was fine, though it was served in the main building. Our room didn't resemble the photos on the hotel's website. It felt more like a storage room for old, unwanted furniture than a proper guest room, and it wasn't cozy or tidy. The furniture and kettle were quite old and used, a damaged wall had only dusty curtains over it, and the bathroom bin was rusty. A big green exit sign in the room also shone brightly at night and was unpleasant. On arrival we found ourselves at a locked door, along with another family. It turned out there were two villas, and the entry code we had didn't work. The owner didn't answer our calls or messages. We only realized there was another building because of a previous guest's TripAdvisor comment. The whole stay was a big disappointment.
