Best Western Hotel Trollhattan

It felt more like a family-run place than a chain, mostly because everyone was so genuinely friendly. Our booking included the dinner buffet, which was simple but tasty. There was tea in the room, plus coffee and pastry available in the lobby. Breakfast had a generous selection and tasted good too. Such a calm, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to the BW Trollhättan staff, we’ll remember your hospitality fondly.

The location is right in the middle of town, with a paid car park beside the hotel. The room was clean, good-sized and comfortable, but the bathroom could use an update. In the evening, the hot water stopped throughout the hotel. Since nobody was physically on site then, the only option was to call a number for a central desk that handles other hotels as well. We couldn’t shower until morning, and nobody mentioned it when we checked out. Breakfast was a little disappointing, with fewer choices than at similar chains nearby.

The central Trollhättan location was nice, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room did the job, but the cleaning let things down: there were wrappers under our bed, and the family in the next room found lots of wrappers and rubbish in their drawers. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was neat, and fresh towels helped. Breakfast tasted fine but didn’t stand out. For what was served, 1200 kr for a double bed for one Saturday-to-Sunday night felt a bit steep.

A comfortable, tidy package for business travel. The rooms are simple and not new, but decent. The front desk crew even put together a nice travel bag for my early morning departure. Thanks!
