Fornuddens Bed and Breakfast

Great shop.

I won’t return, even though the garden is beautiful. The room had black mold, was dirty, and wasn’t heated. They gave me a radiator, but told me all Swedish houses were cold and that I should go to Italy next time. There was no way to air out the room after showering, so it got damper every day. As it got colder outside, condensation covered the inside of the window until I could barely see through it. A disgusting earplug from a previous guest was next to the bed, and the room wasn’t cleaned once during my seven-day stay. Breakfast was the same every day, with the same sausage and bread. Next door, people talked or argued loudly for hours each evening, which was very unpleasant. The experience has made me appreciate my own apartment: it’s dry, warm, mold-free and quiet, without hours of phone calls and voices next door. I have privacy without anyone barging into my room, my sink is securely attached to the wall, and breakfast is varied. Sometimes a vacation reminds you how nice home is.

The room was spacious, cozy and retro, better than Scandic. The area was nice, though the view wasn’t. Breakfast was very poor: I got only one and a half glasses of milk, and there weren’t many sandwiches. Then the hostess asked if we’d “taken the shots,” meaning the corona vaccine. That wasn’t her business and had nothing to do with her. I hope she sees this and guests stop asking about it.

A really nice welcome, a cozy garden, and a quiet, pleasant stay.
