The rooms were clean and comfortable, with really good showers and lovely views over the sea or harbor. Isbolaget sits right by the water on beautiful Donsö, and the regular ferry makes getting to the island easy. There’s a restaurant at the hotel for dinner, too. A calm, scenic spot for a relaxing stay.

I almost stuck with the pasta, but the fish soup looked so good that I switched. I only eat fish about once every five years, and I was amazed by how good the soup was. The staff were so warm and welcoming. Thank you!

The wooden interior made the place feel cosy, and the staff were nice. We stopped in to eat after walking around the island with my girlfriend. Since it was off-season, they had a great pizza menu.

The waitresses were really friendly, and the pizza was excellent. Mine had sour cream, red onions, shrimp, Sturgeon roe and dill.

We only ate at the restaurant and didn’t stay at the hotel. The view is lovely and the atmosphere is great, and although the main course and draft beer choices are limited, there was enough else on the menu. The staff were friendly, but the wait was incredibly long. Our hamburger, fish schnitzel and kid’s fish meal took about an hour to arrive, and by then we’d missed our planned ferry to the mainland.
