With Gekås right across the road, the location worked perfectly for us. The kids could rest in the room while mom went shopping, and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and nice the rooms were. Three rooms share a kitchen and bathroom, which was plenty for us. Our room had a cozy balcony, there were no disturbances, and parking was free. Each room had a TV, mirror, sheets, and towels. There’s no reception, but I got directions over the phone. The same price for every room felt unfair. If I’d known, I would have asked for one with a separate cot so we could sleep better. Still, that wasn’t a deal breaker, and we’d recommend staying here for all the other positives. It was fully booked when we stayed, with almost every room occupied, so I wish more guests would share the good things with others. Thanks for having us 😊

Check-in and check-out were easy, and the place was good enough for one night. The location near Gk is very good. The beds were much too soft, though, and the room could use some repairs: the ceiling light cover was missing, one lamp was broken, and the TV cabinet was wobbly and damaged. The TV also wouldn’t work without your own subscription, for example to Netflix. There was no paper in the kitchen and no hand towels in the toilet, just one large towel in the room. Otherwise, it was quite okay.

There was everything we needed to prepare meals, and parking was right next door. Everything was close by. The hostel was clean and pleasant, and nights were quiet enough to sleep without being disturbed. The hospitality was nice too. I can highly recommend it and would be happy to come back on my next visit.

You can’t stay any closer to Gekås, and there was good parking right outside. We were welcomed warmly, and the place was clean and pleasant. We’ll definitely come back.
