We were grateful for how well they handled breakfast and our arrival. We came in the off season, and the front desk got in touch to ask when we'd arrive so someone could be there for check-in. Communication was really good. They also went out of their way to make sure there were vegetarian breakfast options, and the breakfast itself was very nice. The service was great throughout. It's a quaint, older-style Swedish hotel right in the town center, and we enjoyed staying there. There's no elevator, though it didn't bother us, and there are rooms on the main floor. Thanks for being so hospitable!

The staff were warm and helpful, and breakfast can be arranged early if you ask, since the regular serving time is rather late. The rooms vary, but have a traditional Swedish style. It's an authentic, old-fashioned hotel with a slightly surreal feel, in a lovely spot in the heart of Lysekil city. The High Street, Lysekils Segelsallskap and more are all within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay, and would recommend booking ahead.

Lysekil is an interesting town, with lovely scenery around it, especially the rocky coastline. We were there in early March and it was very quiet, with maybe just one other couple staying.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean, cute, and full of character. It's in a great location, and breakfast was nice. The room had charm but looked a little shabby, so the place could use a refresh. It's a very old building with no sound insulation, which makes it really noisy when the hotel is busy. I'd come back in the off season, when things are quieter.
