The communal spaces were lovely for relaxing and looking out over the lake, and the room was nice and very clean. Breakfast had a good selection, and the food was really nice. Service was friendly too. They can provide a sauna if you ask. Dinner wasn’t served during our stay, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The lake is an easy five minute walk away, and parking was straightforward. It’s a nice hotel with a bit of atmosphere, and breakfast has a generous selection. One thing to know: there still wasn’t an open pub nearby for a beer after 7 pm, either in October 2021 or September 2024 😒.

The room had been refurbished and came with a great sea view. The price on the hotel’s own website was better than the one on hotels.com.

The common areas felt cozy and calming, and the staff were friendly and keen to help. Breakfast offered a good range, and the restaurant served tasty food. My stay was comfortable overall, and the central Ulricehamn location was convenient. I’d booked a lake view room, but with the windows open on a warm day or night, traffic noise was a big letdown.
