Our room was small, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and adequate. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, with choices for different food preferences, plenty of teas, fresh juices and delicious coffee. We arrived just before midnight and were welcomed by kind, service-minded staff.

It’s in the old town and easy to reach from the ferry without crossing too many cobbled streets. Breakfast was okay, with a decent choice of fresh fruit, but it got busy and hectic when everyone arrived at once.

The location in Visby’s old town was excellent, close to restaurants, shops and attractions. The apartment was recently renovated, cleanly designed, surprisingly spacious and very affordable for a larger group. At around 1500 SEK a night, as many as eight people can stay comfortably, with three bedrooms and a large living room that has a sofa bed. It has everything needed, including a modern kitchen with appliances, a stylish bathroom with a washer and dryer, and a cozy shared area with a large TV and dining space. Cleaning wasn’t up to standard when we arrived, but after we told the front desk, they promptly arranged an extra clean. The staff were friendly and professional throughout, which made a big difference. We had a very pleasant stay, and it’s a good option for families or groups of friends looking for space, comfort and value in Visby.
