The rooms look modern, with new renovations and colors that work together nicely. I also liked being able to take a book from the shelf, and there was a big breakfast buffet. We got the buffet through a winter special offer, so I don't know what it normally costs. Free coffee, tea and biscuits in the hall when we arrived was a lovely touch. The old hospital grounds make for an unusual setting, with a nice view of the water from the rooms. Once it's dark, though, a walk around brings you past some seriously creepy sculptures: little girls sitting as if crying and strange dogs outside the doctor's old mansion. A perfect late-night horror walk. The rooms were nice, and I enjoyed the decor. I'll probably come back!

Dinner at the restaurant was tasty, even though the menu wasn't very extensive. Breakfast is included and covers the usual hot and cold favorites. It's a quiet, family friendly place with a good outdoor area. The nearest town is a ten-minute drive away, with more shops and restaurants.

The hotel has a restaurant with outdoor tables, and breakfast is included with all the popular choices. There are four EV charging stations, which cost 95 SEK. It's near the lake with a large area around it. The place has recently been renovated, and while the rooms aren't very big, they're clean, comfortable and have what you need.

The setting alone makes it worth booking. The owner is a kind, helpful person, and the staff are good too. Breakfast starts at 7 and is good.
