The pool area was a nice place to unwind, and there’s a disc golf course nearby for some fun. We had a good stay at Vännäs Camping in our campervan. The parking spots were a bit uneven, so levelling the van took some effort, but it wasn’t a major issue. A solid campsite with good activities around.

The facilities were okay, but 400 SEK for camping beside a local road felt like too much. I counted over 30 cars driving around the camping area, with no guardians or traffic control. There was a lot of unfamiliar traffic, and locals were just driving around. I thought the area was secured.

We wanted to leave right away and didn’t even stay, but having paid in advance turned out to be a mistake. We got no refund because of their “cancellation regulations”. The cottages are tiny and packed closely together, leaving no private outdoor space, and their interiors are very old, smelly, and unpleasant. The price is extremely high for the service and quality compared with similar places. I strongly discourage anyone from staying here.

The location and plot are very nice, but the ground where we stayed was extremely sloped, so levelling my caravan was difficult. The facilities are old but functional. This place needs an overhaul.
