The pizza was nicely crisp, and this is a good-value place to stop on the way to Sälen. It's not luxurious, and the toilets are shared, but it worked well for an overnight stay.

The lunch buffet was good, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Some friends requested laundry service and waited four days; when the clothes came back, half were missing. Staff didn't seem to take the loss seriously, just shrugging their shoulders.

The hotel manager has a genuinely warm manner and tries hard to make your stay pleasant. And for food, this is probably the best place around here. The menu's small, but whatever you choose should make for a satisfying meal.

I only stopped in for lunch and a beer, so I can't comment on the rooms. The owner was a very nice chap, the lunch was delicious and home cooked, and the beer was reasonably priced.
